This project, which began in 2017, consisted in building a new aquatic and recreation center above an existing library. The 75,000-square-foot building includes four stories and two rooftop pools (one competition pool and one recreational pool), and a number of other facilities including a multi-sport field with bleachers, five community meeting rooms, administrative offices and a conference room. Its inauguration is planned for 2020.
ADF was mandated for the fabrication, connection engineering, and installation of the two-way truss system. Our most significant challenge was the size of the built-ups.
