ADF’s mandate included creating drawings, supplying steel, and fabricating the main arches of the 185-meter-long cable-stayed bridge. The project needed to follow AESS rules for architecturally exposed metallic structures. The construction of the new pedestrian bridge sought to link the East Village neighborhood with St. Patrick Island and the Bridgeland neighborhood.
