General Motors’ Lake Orion, Michigan, assembly plant is the first traditional assembly plant to be converted to electric vehicle production. The 4,300,000 sq ft plant is expected to assemble the group’s various electric pickup models by 2025. ADF also supplied the structural steel for a new paint facilty built on the same site.
