The 29th Street NW Pedestrian Bridge span over the 6 lanes of the 16th Avenue N.W. It is adjacent to several major activity centers, supports pedestrian access connecting communities to essential medical facilities, transportation hubs, pathways and more.
ADF was mandated for the fabrication and coating of the 90 tons of structural steel required for the bridge. The main truss being exposed was carefully packaged to prevent damage, then shipped in three pieces to Calgary.
