Contributing in this role means:
– Performing various preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on stationary and rolling equipment such as CNC, robotic, conventional machines, overhead cranes and welding machines;
– Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems on fixed and rolling equipment;
– Participate in process and equipment improvements;
– Occasionally perform welding work;
– Follow and optimize work instructions;
– Execute work according to departmental and manufacturer requirements;
– Write reports to ensure proper follow-up of maintenance interventions;
– Apply safety rules;
– Keep work area clean;
– Provide information for parts orders;
– Any other related tasks.

– Salary varies according to experience and shift – Salary range between 29,93$ à 42,14$ per hour. Night shift premium of 2.50$/h

40-hour compressed work week
– Position available on night shift – Monday to Thursday, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Desired professional profile :
– DEP in Electromechanics of automated systems or any other combination of relevant training/experience;
– Plant experience in the steel industry (asset);
– Certificate in electricity (CÉ / 1-ELECT) – Issued by Emploi-Québec (Licence C) (Asset);
– Certification to CSA B167-08 Overhead travelling cranes. (Asset);
– Certificat restreint en connexion d’appareillage (RCA / 1-RCAPP) – Issued by Emploi-Québec (Asset);
– Attestation en Santé et sécurité générale sur les chantiers de construction – Issued by ASP Construction (Asset);
– Ability to operate an overhead crane (Asset);
– Good command of spoken and written French;
– Knowledge of blueprint reading: hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, diesel, welding and machining;
– Autonomous and analytical;
– Results-oriented and professional;
– Patient, meticulous and cooperative;
– Able to work at heights.
