The Royalmount pedestrian overpass was erected over the Décarie Highway (A15), connecting the Royalmount District to the De la Savane metro station. The overpass is covered, heated and air-conditioned, and is 180 metres (600 feet).
Location was among the project’s biggest challenges for the overpass installation. Located in a busy area of Montreal, the central section was installed overnight to minimize the impact of the work on local traffic.
